Disney’s Stitch Amigurumi FREE pattern

One of the cutest characters that Disney has created, Stitch is the favorite of many including my Grandson! This FREE pattern can help you create a Disney’s Stitch Amigurumi character doll.

Crocheted toys make great Christmas gifts for the young and young-at-heart and who wanted love cuddling up to this crazy character from Disney’s classic Lilo & Stitch.

Designed by Sweet and Cute Creations and available at LoveCrafts, the pattern for this Disney’s Stitch makes an amigurumi doll aimed at the beginner crocheter. If you can crochet in a spiral, you can crochet Amigurumi. The only difference is that when crocheting Amigurumis you should use a much smaller hook size than recommended for the yarn so that no holes are created during the stuffing.

When you first crochet your favorite amigurumi characters, it helps if you have tons of different colors in your stash! Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK has 60 fabulous shades, DMC Natura Just Cotton is a fingering weight cotton with 74 shades and Schachenmayr Catania offers 82 shades. As you build up stocks of color, you’ll have all the shades you need for your favorite little ami friends! A selection of hooks is also an essential. Most amigurumi patterns call for small sized hooks: 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm and 4mm to create dense fabrics. Stitch markers are also super helpful for color changes and keeping track of where you are.

To make Disney’s Stitch Amigurumi you will need the following supplies:

  • 4 ply yarn (Size 2 although DK will also work making your doll slightly larger) in black, salmon pink, royal blue, light blue and navy blue
  • Tapestry Needle
  • G/6 (4.0mm) crochet hook
  • Fiberfill Stuffing

  1. I think rnd 7 in legs needs modifications
It’s only 24 sts so how we can do 9 sc, dec 3 times and 9 sc in the remaining sts and get 21 st at the end of the round??

    1. Alaa,
This is not my pattern but 24 less 3 stitches equal 21. 9 stitches plus 3 decreasing stitches plus 9 stitches also equals 21 stitches. I am not sure what your question is?

    1. Jan,
I am confused about where you are trying to register. On my website or the pattern site?
Perhaps you need to click the “forgot password” link.

    1. Saskia,
I personally have not made this amigurumi but many others. In most cases, one skein usually makes a smaller stuffie. I would buy two of the darker blue though just in case.
Good luck. I would love to see your finished project.
      Happy hooking

  5. I too have been looking for the lilo and stitch bag pattern. After searching everywhere I have found out that the photo of the lilo and stitch bag was AI and the “pattern” is fake. There is no pattern for the bag. The bag does not exist. But if anyone makes the bag please let us know in the comments please and thank you.

    1. Thank you Alice. I have been requesting that my link be removed from the site but have received no response. I apologize to everyone for the confusion. Unfortunately, I don’t have control other than warning you all.

  6. Love your site but am.gutted.that the link.was for doll and not.the bag. My niece would have loved it
