This pattern was designed by Megan Pitz for Robert Kaufman fabrics. It is easy to make by a confident beginner. The finished size is 11″ x 38 1/2″ -perfect to use as a table runner or wall hanging.
As the popsicles are made from 5″ squares of fabric, this pattern is a stash buster. Use all your bright left over fabric or purchase a charm pack of Kona Solids.
To make the Popsicle Party table runner, you will need the following supplies:
- 14 assorted 5″ squares of fabric
- 1/8 yard of beige fabric for popsicle sticks
- 1/2 yard of background fabric
- 1/2 yard of fabric for binding
- 1/2 yard of fabric for backing
- Coordinating thread
Although the pattern does not mention batting, personally, to quilt this table runner, I would add a light batting. This helps create that quilted look. You will need 1/2 yard of batting should you wish to add to the project.
