This is the most awesome crocheted afghan I have seen in a while. My mind raced as to the color combinations you could use to create this tilt-a-whirl afghan.
Crocheted in a half double crochet stitch, this pattern would stitch up quickly. And it is made in 8 inch blocks so you can take it with you to crochet on a train, plane or automobile

The colors pop in this gorgeous afghan and the graphic on this pattern is reminiscent of an amusement park. The pattern makes an afghan 52″ x 60″, but with a pattern repeat and the use of 8″ inch squares, you can easily adjust this afghan to any size.
Designed by Caron, the pattern is written for intermediate crocheters. This big graphic Tilt-A-Whirl afghan is created with Caron One Pound. The one pound skein of yarn is economical, with excellent yardage (742m or 812 yards – equivalent to approximately 4 regular balls of yarn). As this yarn, comes in over 30 colors, the color combinations are endless!

I love the idea of a “take it with you pattern” and the graphics on the Tilt-A-Whirl afghan are big and bold. What color combo will you make? Let me know in the comments and don’t forget to share!!
That one is pretty but it kinda hurts my eyes to stare at it.
