Created with pieced quilt blocks the Christmas stocking and gifts become the main focal point in this project. The finished size of the table runner is 18″ x 54″.
This pattern was designed by Riley Blake Designs for use with their Crayola Box. Crayola Boxes are no longer available but were collections of solid colored fabrics that are designed to celebrate special events. They came in either Fat quarter or Fat eighths. To make this runner, you can create your own Crayola box by using 9″ x 21″ fabric pieces. Or purchase a designer fat eighth bundle.
To make the Christmas Stocking Table Runner you will need the following supplies:
- 10 – Fat Eighths of your Favorite Christmas fabric
- 3/4 yard of background fabric
- 3/8 yard of fabric for binding
- 1 yard of fabric for backing (for tips on creating backing check out this post on our sister site “WhatsNanaMaking.com“)
- 20 x 60 inch batting
- Coordinating thread
