This intermediate crochet project was designed by Yarnspirations. The completed tree skirt measures approximately 46 inches in diameter. A perfect size for under your tree.
The pattern was created using Patons Classic Wool Worsted yarn. Patons US Classic Wool Worsted is a soft, premium quality yarn of 100% wool.
If you are allergic to wool, like me, or would like a less expensive option, you may substitute the yarn with any worsted weight (Size 4) yarn. My favorite are the Paintbox Yarns by LoveCrafts.
To make the crocheted Christmas Tree Skirt you will need the following supplies:
- 3 balls of worsted weight yarn in RED
- 2 balls of worsted weight yarn in GREY
- 6 balls of contrasting colors
- H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
- 4 – 3/4″ buttons
Make this tree skirt to match your Christmas decor by changing your main colors. Red and gold, silver and blue, or classic red and green, your possibilities are endless.
