Although this pouch was originally designed as a sewing accessory pouch, this pouch can be also used to store most anything including coloring for the kids, make-up, office supplies, electrical cords and more.
Heidi from Fabric Mutt designed this pouch for the Fat Quarter Shop Sew Illustrated series. The pouch has a zipper closure, outer pocket and a finished size of 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″
To make the sewing accessory pouch, you will need the following supplies:
- 8 – 3″ squares of various fabrics for the “stars”
- One small square (1-1/2 inches) for center of the “star”
- 1/3 yd of background fabric
- 1/2 yd of fabric for lining and pocket
- 1/2 yd of batting
- Basting adhesive spray
- Zipper – 12 inches or longer
- Zipper pull (optional)
