Designed by Sew4Home.com, the pattern includes a tutorial on how to make these wraps as well as tips on working with terry cloth.
The pattern includes a full length terry shower wrap for women and a waist wrap for men. Great for yourself or as a snuggly gift.
The measurements of the wraps are similar to wraps that are sold as one-size-fits-all. The women’s wrap finishes at approximately 40” wide x 30” high. And the men’s wrap finishes at approximately 40” wide x 22” high. Both of them stretch to about 50”. You can use these measurements as a starting point then cut your wrap larger or smaller for your best fit.
To make the terry shower wraps you will need the following supplies:
- 1½ yards of terry cloth (at least 45″ wide) for the main body of the wrap
- ½ yard quilting weight cotton for the binding
- ¾ yard of 1½” wide no-roll elastic
- ¼ yard of 1½” wide Sew on Velcro®
- ¼ yard of ½” wide twill tape or ribbon for the optional hanging loop
- ½ yard of lightweight fusible interfacing
- Coordinating thread
