The coat is crocheted using Go For Faux yarn from Lion Brand Yarns. Go For Faux feels like the real thing in a 100% Polyester fur yarn. It is a Size 6 bulky weight yarn that is lightweight with ample yardage. It comes in 4 realistic fur shades and two ice pastels. The pictures show the jacket made in Blonde Elk.
The yarn may be purchased as a kit direct from Lion Brand. The kit includes all the yarn you need to make the teddy bear coat and a black and white copy of the free pattern. If you want just the FREE pattern, scroll to the bottom of this post.
To make the Teddy Bear Coat, you will also need a US Size P-15(10mm) crochet hook and a yarn needle.
