Another awesome quilt, hot off the hook, from Fat Quarter Shop. I love how the white background makes the colors pop in this new vibrations quilt.
The pattern is also perfect for a tablerunner and can be made in any color!

Designed by Art Gallery Studios for the Fat Quarter Shop, this quilt uses fabrics from the new Meriwether collection by Art Gallery Fabrics. Finishes at approximately 70″ x 84″.
The quilt is made in three sections. Make just one section to create a gorgeous table runner.
The Vibrations Quilt is designed to work with the Creative Grids Cat’s Cradle XL Ruler which trims a quilt block to make a perfect triangle in eight different sizes. The pattern also uses the Triangles on a Roll 7″ Finished Half Square Triangle Paper. These tools will help beginners make the half square triangles and the cat’s cradle squares. Use of these tools are optional for advanced quilters. You may wish to read the pattern instructions before purchasing your supplies.
To make the Vibrations Quilt, you will need the following supplies:
- 2 yds each of dark and light fabric for larger squares.
- 1/2 yd each of 10 different patterned fabrics for smaller squares and binding
- 5-1/4 yds of fabric for backing. See Nana’s post “Quilt Backing for Spectacular Quilts” for backing options.
- Twin size quilt batting
- Coordinating thread
You may also purchase a quilt kit which comes complete with the pattern, fabric, ruler and triangle paper. A backing kit is also available here.
