This beginner’s pattern is presented by Riley Blake Designs. The finished size of the rose section is 66″ x 78″. To create a larger rose quilt, you may either add a border or make your squares larger!
The pattern uses fabrics from Riley Blake’s Confetti Cottons solids collection. These cottons are available in a large range of solids so you can choose your favorite colors to create your roses.
To make the I Love Roses quilt, you will need the following supplies:
- You will need four different shades of your color choice for the roses. You will require 3/4 yard of the lightest shade, 3/8 yard of the darkest shade and 1/2 yard and 3/8 yard of two medium shades. Refer to the pattern to assist you with these choices.
- 5/8 yard of light green for leaves
- 5/8 yard of medium green for leaves
- 1/2 yard of dark green for leaves
- 2-3/4 yard of white for background
- 5/8 yard of fabric for binding
- Twin Size Batting
- Coordinating thread
What color will you make your rose?? In addition to the colors shown, I am thinking purple or deep red!
