Designed by Red Heart yarns, this easy pattern comes in Sizes 6 months, 12 months and 18 months. Sweater is worked in one piece from neck down. Garment is divided at underarms and body is then worked to lower edge. Sleeves are worked in rounds down to cuffs, then the hood is worked last onto neck edge and worked upwards. Ears are optional.
The pattern uses Red Heart Bunches of Hugs yarn. If you are looking to welcome a new baby with cozy hand crocheted gifts, Bunches of Hugs yarn is perfect. This Size 4 yarn has been certified safe for baby’s skin and is machine washable. Bunches of Hugs yarn comes in bright, clean solid colors as well as fun multi colors.
To make the baby bear hoodie, you will need the following supplies:
- One 10 oz/284 g; 678 yds/620 m ball of Bunches of Hugs or equivalent Size 4 yarn
- Size U.S. H/8 [5 mm] crochet hook
- 4 to 6 buttons
- Yarn needle
