Now that February is upon us, I have started thinking of spring and summer. Have you? And I have been missing my grands, so I thought it was time once again to post a baby pattern and found this Cute Spring Baby Cardigan.
Perfect to dress up any little outfit and head out shopping with Nana!

Designed by Paintbox Yarns for Sizes 0 to 18 months, this cardigan has been rated easy to intermediate. In my opinion it is only the bobbles that rate this as intermediate so if you feel comfortable with bobbles you will make this easily. And if you have never tried bobbles – go for it – they are actually quite simple to make.
The cardigan is worked in one piece from the bottom up so very little sewing!
The pattern uses Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK. I have personally used this yarn before and it is gorgeous to work with. And you have 56 colors to choose from in the Paintbox collection.. Shown in four colors, you can see that your color choices are endless. Why not use two different ones for the bodice and bottom?? How cute!
To make the Cute Spring Baby Cardigan you will need the following supplies:
- 2- 4 (depending on size) 50gram balls of Paintbox Cotton DK or equivalent Size 3 yarn.
- US Size G-6 (4mm) crochet hook
- 3 – 1/2″ buttons – how about these cute little spring flowers?
