The pattern was created for Bernina’s We All Sew blog by Minki Kim and includes a full tutorial on how to make these quilted Easter baskets. The finished size of your basket will be approximately 7 1/2″ diameter x 6 1/4″ tall not including the handles.
Grab some cute bunny or little chicks fabric to create a basket for that special someone. These baskets are just the perfect size for egg hunting.
Once Easter is done, think Mother’s Day. Wouldn’t these be perfect little gift baskets? Add some bath supplies, or ingredients for a special recipe and you have a great gift for Mom.

To make the quilted Easter baskets, you will need the following supplies:
- 1/4 yard quilt fabric for basket exterior
- 10” square quilt fabric for basket bottom
- 1/2 yard quilt fabric for lining
- 1/4 yard quilt fabric for basket top binding
- assorted fabric scraps for handle
- 1/2 yard foam batting
- 18” x 1” webbing
