Designed by Natalie from Nattie’s Bakes & Bites, these quilted oven gloves will measure approximately 6 inches x 32 inches when complete. The tutorial guides you through the process of quilting your own fabric as well as binding your project.
Presented in gorgeous Christmas themed fabrics, these oven gloves can be made using any fabrics you desire. I am thinking Halloween, Thanksgiving, matching my kitchen decor?? You may also choose to add some patchwork to create your own designs. The possibilities are endless.
To make these slightly more heat-proof, I will be adding a layer of Insul-Bright to the back side (Side without the pockets) before I quilt.
To make these quilted oven gloves, you will need the following supplies:
- Selection of fabrics
- 2.5m of Bias binding in contrasting color or make your own.
- High loft batting
- Insul-bright (optional – as recommended by Nana)
- Cotton thread
- Pins
