Designed by Nancy Anderson for Red Heart yarns, this EASY pattern makes an extra large 18 x 18 inch pillow. Pillow cover is crocheted first so you can make your pillow in your favorite color!. The snowflake motif is crocheted separately then stitched in place.
The pattern uses Red Heart With Love yarn. Red Heart With Love yarn is an ultra-soft premium acrylic worsted weight (Size 4) yarn. It is easy care yarn, as it can be washed and dried. It is perfect for blankets, throws, hats, scarves and more. This yarn comes in over 50 beautiful solid, variegated and self-striping shades.
The pattern is worked using two strands of yarn. Two strands of worsted weight (Size 4) yarn will be equivalent to bulky (Size 5) or super bulky (Size 6) yarn. Remember to check your gauge carefully.

To make the Snowflake Pillow, you will need the following supplies:
- 3 skeins of RED HEART With Love or equivalent Size 4 yarn in background color
- 1 skein of Size 4 yarn in white for snowflake
- US K-10½ (6.5 mm) Crochet Hook for pillow
- US n-13 (9 mm) Crochet Hook for snowflake
- Yarn needle
- Stitch marker
- Sewing needle
- Matching sewing thread
- 18” x 18” (45.5 cm) poly-filled pillow form insert
