Designed for Bernat Yarns, this easy to make afghan will measure appproximately 50″ x 67″ when complete. Want it bigger? Add more granny squares!
The pattern uses Bernat Blanket Breezy yarn. Bernat Blanket Breezy is the perfect lightweight yarn for home décor projects. Blanket Breezy is a Size 4 self-striping yarn with colorful sections that vary from thick to thin for a unique look. Because of this uniqueness, it is a hard yarn to substitute. You may, however, use a Size 4 substitute yarn, however, you will not achieve the same texture.
Bernat Blanket Breezy makes it cozy and visually intriguing with 5 different stripe colors of varying thicknesses. To create the random color placement of self-striping yarn, all Squares are worked at the same time.
To make the Breezy Granny Afghan, you will need the following supplies:
- 2 balls of Bernat Breezy in first color A Citron Splash (70003) 2 balls
- 3 balls of Bernat Breezy yarn in second color B. Contrast B Bed of Roses (70002) 3 balls
- Size U.S. H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
