Designed by Lion Brand yarns, this dress pattern fits kids sized 4 to 6. The finished circumference of the hat is about 18 inches. Make granny squares “On the Go” then join them together. The dress bodice requires 25 Granny Squares of your choice and the hat needs 12 Granny Squares. Finish the dress by adding the skirt.
The pattern was written for use with Vanna’s Style yarn. Vanna’s Style yarn has been discontinued but it was a Size 3 100% acrylic yarn that came in balls containing 254 yards (232 m). You may use any size 3 yarn as a substitute. A great substitute would be Paintbox Simply DK or Stylecraft Special DK . Both of these come in a wide range of color choices.
To make the Kids Boho Dress and Hat you will need the following supplies:
- 2 balls of main color Size 3 yarn (shown as off white)
- 1 ball of four different colors of your choice
- Size G-6 (4.25 mm)crochet hook
- Size H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook
- stitch markers
- yarn needle
