Every time should be playtime, and with these adorable hooded robes, your little one will look forward to their nightly bath. The robe will keep them warm and cozy after bathtime, or on chilly winter mornings.
Designed by Connecting Threads, the pattern includes two different animal options and comes in sizes two to five. Make them with or without the animals. And when you are downloading the pattern, don’t forget to check out their wide range of quality cottons.
Although the pattern uses quilting cotton, I am thinking some nice fleece, terry or minky for the lining to make it more snuggly. This pattern can also be made without the animals, so you could also use your favorite kids themed fabrics – Superman, Frozen, cars, trucks, princesses…the choices are unlimited.
To make the children’s hooded robes, you will need the following supplies:
- 2-1/4 yards of main colored fabric
- 2-1/4 yards of lining fabric
- 1 yard of fabric for ties and trim
- 11″ square fusible fleece
- 13″ square fusible web
- Stuffing for eyeballs
- Scrap of solid white fabric approx. 13″ square
- Scrap of solid black fabric approx. 5″ square
- Tracing paper to copy pattern (optional)
