Designed by Blue Elephant Stitches for Robert Kaufman fabrics, the finished quilt measures 67 1/2″ x 67 1/2″. Amy from Diary of a Quilter added rows to make a bed quilt. You can find out how in her blog post!
The original quilt was designed using Kona cotton solids, but there are so many variations to be found.
This one was made using Artisan batiks by the Missouri Star Quilt Company

Because the quilt uses 5 inch squares, it is a perfect quilt to make from a favorite charm pack. When choosing charm packs, be sure you have 70 squares in total. You may have to buy 2-3 packs.
To make the pixelated heart quilt, you will need the following supplies:
- 70 – 5 inch squares
- 3 yds of fabric for background
- 1/2 yard of fabric for binding
- 4-1/2 backing fabric. Or see Nana’s post on creating spectacular quilt backs.
- Batting
- Coordinating thread
