The Tapis Quilt was designed by AGF Studio and the finished size of this quilt is 84″ x 84″. Generous enough for a queen sized bed. The original design uses fabric from the Rosewood Fusion collection by AGF Studios for Art Gallery fabrics.
A lot of the Rosewood Fusion collection is still available at Fabric.com as well as on Etsy . This quilt would also look fabulous made up with any fabric collection.
The Tapis quilt uses six prints and six blenders in various sizes. Please see the pattern diagrams for the fabrics required to make the blocks.
In addition to the fabrics required to make the blocks, you will also need:
- 7-3/4 yards of fabric for backing. For spectacular backing ideas, please see this post from WhatsNanaMaking.
- 1/2 yd. fabric for binding
- Queen size batting
- Coordinating thread
