I have noticed lots of interest in Valentine projects lately and with Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away, thought I should post a project that is simple and sweet. The Made With Love quilt will have your heart bursting with love!

The Made With Love quilt pattern was designed by the Fat Quarter Shop and includes the instructions to make a quilt measuring 17.5” X 32.5”. Just the right size for a wall hanging!

This pattern is also available with the Made with Love Quilt Kit which includes everything you need for the quilt top, binding and backing.
To make the Made With Love quilt you will need the following:
- 2/3 yard of cream fabric for background and inner border
- 5/8 yard of red for blocks and binding
- one fat quarter of pink for blocks
- 3/8 yard of a second pink for outer border
- 1-1/4 yards backing
- 1/2 yard of batting (optional)
- Coordinating thread
The pattern calls for 1-1/4 yards of backing but Nana believes this is excessive. Because this quilt in less than the width of a fabric, you may turn the quilt and get away with backing equal to the width of the project. 2/3 of a yard should be plenty.
