The pattern was designed by Teresa Chorzepa for Lion Brand yarns. It is written in one size fits all as the pullover is designed with a generous, boxy fit. The pullover is worked in a pattern of 15-dc groups
and lacy shell sections.
I was looking to make something with Pantone’s Color of the Year 2024. I do have this gorgeous peach yarn in my stash and the DK weight of this yarn would be perfect for spring. So I went searching.
The pattern was written for Lion Brand® Vanna’s Style yarn but this yarn has been discontinued. Paintbox Simply DK will make a great substitute. Yes, I will be substituting yarn but because I wrote THIS POST, I am aware of the differences I need to consider.
To make the Gulf Coast Pullover, you will need the following supplies:
- Approximately 1800 yards of Size 3 (DK) acrylic yarn
- Size H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
