Designed by Maria S Barreto (skirt) and Angelica Schmitt (top), this pattern is written for the advanced crocheter. This project is great to take with you as you will be making 106 squares and 20 1/4 squares. They are then joined together with a slip stitch.
The designers used Circulo Anne fingering yarn to make the skirt. Circulo Anne provides a sheer finish and a soft touch. There are 65 vivid colors to create incredible pieces with ideal thickness for summer clothing. If you have trouble finding this yarn any 4ply cotton fingering yarn will work.
The top was made using Circulo Clea. This is a Size 10 Crochet thread made from mercerized cotton. I haven’t been able to find this yarn but Curio #10 from Crochet.com is a great substitute. And in comes in many gorgeous colors.

To make the Julie skirt and top, you will need the following supplies:
- 10 balls of Anne 500 or equivalent cotton fingering yarn for the skirt
- 2 balls of Curio #10 or equivalent Size 10 crochet thread for the top
- Size 5 (1.75 mm) Steel Crochet hook
- Sewing needle and thread
- 32” of round elastic
- Cotton fabric to line top/skirt
