This pretty twin set was designed for Paton yarns. Rated intermediate, the pattern is written in three sizes – Small, Medium and Large. The set consists of a camisole and cardigan with cropped sleeves.
The designer used Patons Grace yarn. Patons Grace is an ultrasoft Size 3 lightweight cotton yarn available in fresh, modern shades that’s perfect for lightweight garments and accessories.
A great substitute for Grace is Lion Brand 24/7 yarn. The texture and fiber content are perfect matches but I find there is more choice of colors. If you plan on substituting yarn you should consult Nana’s post on “How to Substitute Yarn” for tips. For example, or each ball of the Grace you will only need 0.5 balls of 24/7.
To make this pretty twin set, you will need the following supplies:
- 9-10 balls (depending on size) of Patons Grace or similar Size 3 yarn for cardigan
- 4 balls of Patons Grace or similar Size 3 yarn for camisole
- Size E/4 (3.50 mm) crochet hook
- 5 buttons for cardigan and 5 buttons for camisole
- Yarn needle
