Designed by Rebecca Venton for Red Heart Yarns, this pretty bedcover is made from crocheted blocks sewn together in the center which are then sewn to panels of double crochet. If you can make a granny square, you can make this bedcover.

The pattern uses Red Heart Ombre yarn. Choose any of the 18 gorgeous Super Saver Ombre colors. The colors in this yarn move from light to dark and back again so you get that gradient look without changing skeins.
To make the Pretty Squares Crocheted Bedcover you will need the following supplies:
- RED HEART Super Saver Ombre: 6 skeins for twin, 8 for full, 0 for queen and 11 for king. Note: Depending on your gauge, you may only require 9 skeins for size Queen OR EQUIVALENT SIZE 4
- J/10 (6mm) Crochet Hook
- Yarn needle
I love the way the ombre adds to the look of this bedcover. If you don’t like the ombre or want to use a few different colors, you can substitute for any Size 4 weight yarn. Red Heart offers their Super Saver yarns in 149 colors!!
