Boxed Zipper Pouch using Animal Spirit fabric

This is made using Kaufman “Animal Spirit” Fabric (no longer available) and gives you an idea how even a small panel could be used to create the pouch.

The large bag measures approximately: 7” x 9” and the small bag measures approximately: 4” x 7” meaning you can make TWO from 3 different fat quarters.

To make two boxed zipper pouches – (One Small and One Large of the SAME fabric) you will need the following supplies:

  • One Fat Quarter or 1/4 yard cut of Fabric A for outside of bag
  • One Fat Quarter or 1/8 yard cut of Fabric B for trim of bags
  • One Fat Quarter or 1/4 yard cut of Fabric C for lining of bag
  • Two 7-1/2” x 9-1/2“ pieces of lightweight fusible interfacing per large bag
  • Two 4-1/2” x 7-1/2“ pieces of lightweight fusible interfacing per small bag
  • One 11” Zipper per bag
  • Coordinating thread
