Hi I just downloaded your pattern but it doe not show anything about inserting shoulder strap that I can see. It shows the strap but not attaching it. Cheers
Eileen,
The instructions for attaching the strap can be found under the section “Preparing the Exterior”. Turn the exterior right side out. Insert magnetic snap into the exterior
front center, about 2” down. Pin the strap to the sides of the bagand flap at the center back, line up the raw edge of the strap and raw edge of the flap with the raw edge of the bag exterior. Make sure that like fabric faces like fabric.
There is also a picture (See pins). Let me know if you have more questions.

Terrible instructions. Like something thrown together in a hurry. Where are the photos? There are so many bags made, would it have been hard to do a photo as you sent along?
Rhonda,
Unfortunately, I did not design this pattern. I have made this bag and did not have any problems. The pictures of all the bags made were not made by the designer but rather they were made from people who used the pattern and were showing us the finished product. I found the bag very easy to make and love mine. Perhaps this should be marked for intermediate sewists.
