It’s Canadian Thanksgiving today (Best Wishes to All my Fellow Canadians) and I went looking for a fall pattern to stay with the theme, when I thought “No, by the time I make a quilt, it will be spring”. Then I found this fabulous Garden Walk Quilt pattern and it was perfect!
You can create this beautiful quilt in any colorway. Fall, spring, even Christmas with your favorite jelly roll.

This quilt was designed for beginners by Elise Lea at Robert Kaufman fabrics and measures 57 x 72 when finished. Best thing about it? It is jelly roll friendly!!
Jelly Rolls are collections of 2 1/2″ x 42″ strips of fabric also known as Pops, Roll Ups, Rolie Polies, and Strip Sets.
Shown in two color variations, you can see that this quilt could be made with your favorite fabric collection. It’s so easy. Find your favorite jelly roll, choose a background and start sewing. Make it a theme such as sports, kids characters, Halloween or Christmas, spring or fall. Or, make it to match your decor. I absolutely love the batik version!
Whatever you choose, you know this quilt is going to look gorgeous!
To make the Garden Walk Quilt, you will need the following supplies:
- One Jelly Roll of your choice

- 5/8 yard fabric for binding
- 3-5/8 yard of fabric for backing or get creative with your backing with ideas from our sister site “What’s Nana Making“.
