A few years ago Nana made an awesome ironing board cover. Although it is now looking a little worn, I have been asked what pattern I used to make this awesome cover.
The pattern is no longer available, but luckily Nana saved a copy of the pattern on her computer and is now sharing it with you!!

I absolutely LOVE my ironing board cover!! I made it with a number of scraps from my stash a few years ago so it is looking rather ragged. I want to make another soon and searched out the pattern.
Designed by Jenny Garland for Moda Fabrics, both the pattern and Jenny are no longer available but Nana saved the pattern and can now pass it on to you!
This cover is so easy to make either using your scraps or your favorite Jelly Roll. Jelly Rolls are collections of 2 1/2″ x 42″ strips of fabric produced by Moda Fabrics. Jelly Rolls typically include 40 strips of fabric but can vary. Other fabric manufacturers offer similar products such as Pops, Roll Ups, Rolie Polies, and Strip Sets
To make the ironing board cover, you will need the following supplies.
- 1 jelly roll or 2-1/2″ Strip set of your choice
- 2 yards of muslin
- Crib size batting or you may also want to add a layer of Insul-Bright to increase the heat proofing.
- 3 yds of 1/2″ side ribbon
- Coordinating thread
