This is an easy to crochet poncho with a modern twist thanks to the soft, brushed look of this innovative shaded yarn. Designed by Lorene Eppolite for Red Heart yarns this pattern is written for beginner crocheters in Size Small through to 3X.
The unique design on this poncho is created by crocheting in Red Heart Dreamy Stripes yarn. Available in 8 dreamy colors, this yarn does all the work to create the unique colors and texture! Watch the stripes appear as you stitch this lovely brushed size 5 bulky weight acrylic yarn. The striping shades are perfect for throws, shawls and sweaters or a matching set of accessories, and they can also be mixed with Dreamy solids.
To make the Mountain Breeze poncho, you will need the following supplies:
- 2 balls of Red Heart Dreamy Stripes or equivalent Size 5 yarn for sizes small and medium. 3 balls for the larger sizes.
- US M-13 (9mm) crochet hook
- Stitch markers
- Yarn needle
