The pattern uses Half Square Triangles on a Roll Triangle Paper. Triangle Paper allows you to create perfectly accurate half-square triangle units in any size and amount you need for your quilt. Unroll and cut just what you need, then roll it back up for easy storage.

To make the United States Stars and Stripes Flag quilt, you will need the following supplies:
- 3-3/4 yd. of white fabric (includes binding)
- 1-1/2 yd of blue fabric
- 1-5/8 yd each of two different reds
- 5-1/3 yd of backing – see Nana’s post on how to create a stunning backing for your quilt
- One roll 2” Half Square Triangle Paper (Optional)
- One roll 5” Half Square Triangle Paper (Optional)
- Twin size batting
- Coordinating thread
