The Lost in Time Shawl was designed by Johanna Lindahl of Mijo Crochet Designs and is available in 16 languages! This pattern is a repetition of 12 rows which means you can use any yarn or hook and customize the size of your shawl by the changing the number of repetitions.

The amount of yarn needed varies depending on the size of shawl you want and the weight of the yarn. Use a hook that is recommended for the weight of your yarn.
The shawl is recommend for lightweight yarns such as fingering (Size 2) or sport (Size 3)yarn. Purchase a color changing ball or cake, or create your own color palette by using a mixture of various solids. Suggested yarns include:
- Lion Brand Mandala – each ball contains about 600 yds.
- Red Heart It’s a Wrap – approx. 600 yds to one ball
- Scheepjes Whirl – comes in 1000 yd. cakes
