Designed by Heather Lodinsky for Lion Brand Yarns, this FREE cardigan pattern is written in sizes Small to 2X.
The pattern uses Lion Brand Touch of Merino yarn. Touch of Merino is a Size 3 yarn made from 90% Acrylic and 10% Merino Wool which comes in 5 rich jewel tone shades. Merino is the crème de la crème of wool, prized for its springy stitches, cashmere-like feel and excellent drape.
Want a different color? Substitute your favorite Size 3 yarn and you can make this gorgeous sweater in any colors you choose. One great substitute is Brava Sport by Knit Picks as the gauge matches perfectly and it comes in 45 different colors. To make the spring cardigan, you will need the following supplies:
