This crochet bunny pillow pattern is a very easy pattern. It is well written and easy to follow. The pillow was designed by Bernat yarns and measures 42″ long by 16″ high when complete.

Pattern was designed using Bernat Baby Blanket yarn. Bernat Baby Blanket is a luxuriously soft, chenille-style super bulky (Size 6) yarn that’s perfect for baby blankets and garments. WATCH! your quantities. Baby Blanket yarn comes in two sizes! (3.5 oz/100 g; 72 yds/65 m) and (10.5 oz/300 g; 220 yds/201 m).

The pillow is crocheted using 3 strands of yarn at a time, however, one reviewer stated that the bunny was easier to crochet (and less expensive) using only 2 strands.

“I worked the entire pattern using 2 strands instead of 3. Much easier on my hands. Doing this cut the amount of yarn I bought in half. I used 5 skeins vanilla, 1 skein pink and 1 skein sand. Wrap the single skeins into 2-15 ounce balls so you have 2 strands.” From Yarnspirations review.

To make the crochet bunny floor pillow (using 3 strands of yarn) you will need the following supplies:

  • 10- 300 gram balls of Bernat Baby Blanket or equivalent size 6 yarn in white.
  • 2 – 100 gram balls of Bernat Baby Blanket or equivalent Size 6 yarn in beige for feet
  • 2 – 100 gram balls in pink for feet
  • Size U.S. Q (16 mm) crochet hook
  • Stitch markers.
  • Yarn needle.
  • 5 lbs (2.3 kgs) stuffing.
