Designed by Jill Finley of Jillily Studio for Riley Blake fabrics, this gorgeous table runner will measure approximately 20 x 56 inches when done.
The designer used fabrics from the “Grove” collection by Riley Blake. The fabric collection is reminiscent of a citrus grove in bloom with prints that include blossoms and fruits. This collection is so bright and colorful and packed with summer flair. And he fabric panel also comes in black.
Have fun with colors and create your own style. You can make this with any fabric panel in which you can cut four 10-1/2″ squares or with a fabulous large print. Think Christmas, Halloween, or your favorite theme.
To make the In the Grove table runner you will need the following supplies:
- One White Grove (or similar) flower panel or 1/2 yard of large print fabric.
- 1/2 yard of fabric for sashing and inner border – designer used Limeade Houndstooth
- 1/2 yard of fabric for outer border – designer used Charcoal Blossoms
- 1/3 yard fabric for binding
- 1 yard of fabric for backing
- Batting (optional)
- Coordinating thread
