Designed by Art Gallery Fabrics, the windflowers quilt measures approximately 89 inches x 84 inches when completed. The instructions are very detailed and include all the templates required to make your quilt.
The flowers are pieced not appliqued. The only applique in this quilt is the stems and leaves. If you want to learn how to applique, Nana has some tips and tricks in THIS POST.
Because Nana loves table toppers so much, I was thinking how wonderful this super-sized floral block would look on my table!!
The pattern uses fabrics from the Angles Pollinate collection by Jessica Swift for Art Gallery Fabrics but there are many wonderful floral collections out there just waiting to be turned into one of these big, bold flowers!
To make the windflowers quilt, you will need the following supplies:
- Fabric for flowers per pattern directions
- An additional 4 yards of background fabric = fabric 11 (NOT INDICATED IN PATTERN)
- Binding fabric is included in list

- Queen sized batting
- Coordinating thread
